According to a recent IBISWorld study, 30-million Americans rely on IP telephony services day-to-day. Infonetics Research
also reached a similar conclusion in their past survey, estimating that
the number of mobile VoIP users grew 550 percent globally last year. By
the end of 2013, many market experts expect this total to exceed
1-billion users. While Ovum Research Group
predicts that VoIP revenues will hit $479-billion by 2020, the momentum
carried by the mobile VoIP market could expand the industry more than
companies first thought.
